Russian: Irina Kemp, M.A.

Born and raised in the Soviet Union and Ukraine, Irina earned a bachelor’s degree in linguistics and master’s degrees in education. Before coming to the United States, she taught languages at the high school level for 11 years.

Irina believes that learning a foreign language opens doors to other cultures and ways of thinking, broadens our horizons, and helps make the world a friendlier place. She also believes that hard work, persistence, and consistency are the keys to mastering any language, including Russian.
