Russian: Anzhela Greene, M.A.

Anzhela Greene is a Russian language instructor who enthusiastically shares her love for travel, the joy of intercultural communication, and the excitement of studying a foreign language. She believes in holistic language immersion, and that fun comes through quality work. Anzhela feels fortunate to have experienced much of the world. She has lived in Central Asia, in Russia’s northwest, in Western and Eastern Europe, and on both coasts of the United States. She has explored the cultural richness of Europe and Eurasia, from Normandy to Donbas, Oslo to Sevastopol, Naples to the Silk Road city of Khiva. She relishes education, having graduated from university in St. Petersburg, Russia, earned her master’s degree in Brussels, Belgium, and studied languages in Christchurch, New Zealand. Among her many cherished memories are celebrating her twenty-third birthday at business negotiations in Istanbul, overlooking the Bosphorus, and witnessing a democratic revolution first-hand as an international election observer in Ukraine.
