“My name is Cristy, and I’m a Spanish teacher from northern Mexico with over four years of experience helping students from different backgrounds learn and improve their Spanish.
I truly enjoy meeting new people, sharing cultures and life experiences, and, of course, having a good laugh along the way! I especially love teaching the kind of Spanish people actually use in everyday life, including common expressions, slang, and those little details you won’t always find in textbooks.
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and fun. I believe learning a language shouldn’t feel intimidating, so I want my students to feel comfortable being themselves, asking questions, making mistakes, and expressing their ideas without fear of judgment. My goal is to create a relaxed environment where we can learn together while having a great time.
Outside of teaching, I’m passionate about video games, animals, animation, and learning about other cultures. I also enjoy learning languages myself, so I understand what it’s like to be on the other side of the classroom!
I hope our lessons feel less like traditional classes and more like spending time with a friend while learning something new. I can’t wait to meet you and help you discover how fun learning Spanish can be!”
